Role summary

This position has sales department oversight for more than one property within a city or area. The position manages the overall sales effort of several hotels (typically 2-10) and has other Sales Managers reporting to him/her. Duties typically include participating in the annual planning effort, developing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, supervising sales related personnel, and implementing sales and marketing strategies at those properties. This position may be responsible for properties falling into more than one property type and has direct responsibility for a property's sales activities. Typically reports to a Regional Marketing/Sales Executive (job 2150). If your organization does not have an area structure, you may consider reporting the regional level.
